Post Race Massage

With less then a week until Ottawa race weekend, it’s time to book your Post-Race massage.
After intense training and racing, athletes may find themselves with tight or injured muscles, tendons and ligaments. Left untreated, this can lead to chronic injuries in the hip, knee and foot such as IT Band Syndrome, Patellar Tendonitis or Plantar Fasciitis.
Besides treating these common injuries, post-race massage helps to flush out toxins, such as lactic acid. This will help decrease your muscle soreness/stiffness after your race so that you can get out running sooner.
